I am disabled and cant get out of the house much so I need help with this Christmas for my grandkids. My ex-son-in-law walked out on his 2 boys causing a lot of problems at the time inwhich caused my daughter to not be able to get a job. She has tried everything and everywhere. The only way she can get a job ius thru day labor which still is not covering all the bills. She has a 3 and 5 year old sons. i want them to have a christmas. We have done all that we could to keep them afloat. To the point we are living day to day and robbin g peter to pay paul. I have no more to give. I even do without. But these little ones should not have to. So can someone please help. They wear size 4 & 5 if cloths are offered. Any cloths day time night time and learning toys they love. We would be greatful for anything. God Bless everyone this season. I have given every year to children without and made complete meals for 2 to 3 families for thanksgiving and christmas every year since my children were born, now even if we dont have I want them to.

Reply to truly unique---I assume your son is on medicaid. I don't know what state your in but normally the state will help with daycare if you can get a job, it may not have to be full time work but thousands of women hold down full and part time jobs and go to school at the same time. If you want an education you are going to have to do what you need to to get it. If the state said they will help you with daycare I suggest you get out there and find any job your qualified to do and work your school hours around your job and son. There is no magic pill that is going make it all nice and easy for you to get an education. Be thankful the state said they would if you work. You have two choices as I see it, either find a job and continue your education or quit school and find a job to survive. You can do it, if you want it bad enough. Goodluck  Sincerely sheshe030

Note

: This aidpage was started as a comment on "Christmas for Kids"

I would like to have help for my children's Christmas if possible. I have 2 children, a boy, 19 years of age and a girl, 16 years of age. They are mentally disabled.  My husband is disabled also from a heart attack and I have to take him and my children to medical appointments approximately 3 to 4 times a week which prevents me from seeking employment.  So we are a low-income family.    We receive supplimental income from Social Security.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, sachlind

 in response to Sarah3...

Hi Sarah,

I know I'm responding to a very old post, but with Ameriplan's Dental Plus program, you only pay $14.95 a month for an individual ($19.95 a month for an entire household of up to 20 people, need not be related).  You'll get up to 80% discount on all dental services when you go to a network provider.  You can get the work you need for a significantly lower price this way.

It's your choice whether you want to check it out or not but thought I would just let you know about this particular option.

Visit www.mybenefitsplus.com/mkj

Good luck in whatever you choose!

I was in a similar situation until I found My Powermall.  It is free to join and if you work at it, it will help pay the bills.  Check it out www.mypowermall.com/mall/125752

Hello, well I'm not really use to asking people for help but I really need help and I heard how total strangers help eachother out on this website and I think that is great. I am 20yrs old and a father of two beautiful boys. My problem is in the financial department, I was attending college and had to take leave because i could not afford it. Now I want to go back so that i can get on my feet for my kids sake and offer them a better life than i ever had. Any amount of monetary aid would be greatly appreciated as would any other aid I am offered thank you very much.

                                                                                                                God Bless

i am a mother of a 3 month old baby boy, my husband is out of work, and we have very low income. I am in dire need of a new car. My mother was helping me by letting me borrow her car to get back and forth to work. but the car is broken down for good. I hate asking for help, but i feel i have no choice. if i cant get to work i dont have a job, and if i dont have a job, my family doesnt eat. Please have a heart. someone, anyone, if you have a good car, please sell it to me at a reasonable price, or loan me the money to get one. i dont have the money to get a car, but i could probably go without anything for 2 weeks so i could pay for a cheap car. i can only pay 500 dollars. so please help my husband and my son and i. we really need the help. thank you and God bless.

Full-time college Student who would love to smile at Graduation

I am a 22 year old full-time college student in New York, and will be graduating in May. The problem is I am uninsured and cannot afford dental work that would enable me to speak to others much less smile at graduation. I have been on medicaid in the past a had dental work done, but it has just exacerbated the problem. One dentist did a root canal and then just stuck Temperin in the space, needless to say it did not last long and now the front tooth has broken. I have tried financing options but do not have the credit necessary to secure plans like care credit, captial one. I need extensive dental work, but would be happy with just the front tooth fixed. My mother and sister also struggle with dental problems, and have encountered the same problems I have. My hope by posting this plea is to find a dentist or someone to help my family and me get the dental care we desparately need. We have worked hard, but this is one expense we cannot take on by ourselves. Any assistance that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Never had much

I am writing this in hopes that there is some opportunity for to recieve aid to attend college. See my family has always lived below the poverty level and there is no way my single mother can help me with my dream of higher education.Let alone pay for her medication or bills. My needs are basic  I'm looking for assistance for my goal of becoming a social worker I want to give back and more to the assocation that could have done so much more for me and my mother. I know by getting this funding I will go on to do above and beyond what my career discription expects. Thank you .
